Sally’s passion and expertise is brand storytelling. In her 28 years at Target Corporation, as Chief Brand Officer of The Cherokee Group and her own Brand Management firm, Sally has personally crafted the vision for some of the most compelling brands around the world. She helped lead the transformation of Target from a regional discount retailer to one of the worldʼs most recognized and influential global brands. She was instrumental in developing and implementing Target’s designer program, forging partnerships with over 60 designers and exclusive brands that propelled Target into its own niche and one of the most admired brands globally. In 2010, Sally started her own retail consultancy and developed the global brand vision for the Cherokee brand and worked closely with Disney, Nickelodeon, Kohl’s on several new brand initiatives.

In 2011, Sally officially joined Cherokee Inc. as Chief Brand Officer, leading the Marketing, Product Development, Sourcing, and New Business Initiatives and led many of the brand acquisitions including Liz Lange and Tony Hawk.

In March 2014, Sally started her own brand management company, in partnership with Decor, a world-class apparel design and manufacturer. With the discipline of merchant, the sharp eye of a product designer and the flare of a marketer – Sally possesses the rare talent to understand the consumer, cultivate a brand’s authentic story and create multi-channel experiences that delight the consumer and inspire action. Known for fostering an environment that encourages great ideas from all levels and building great teams that help drive growth.
